Kathryn M. Wisniewski Wereski, 89, of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Mercervill­e Care Center.

Daughter of the late Peter & Stella Rogacki Wisniewski; Wife of the late Edward J. Wereski; sister of the late John Wisniewski, Mary Gregoli, Claire DePula, Bertha South and Helen Woloszyn.

Surviving is her daughter Kathleen Wereski of Robbinsvil­le; two nieces Marianne Gregoli and Carol Suplee & Donald; two nephews Michael “Mickey” & Leslie Woloszyn and Mark & Frannie Woloszyn; several grand nieces and grand nephews; a longtime family friend Beverly Tone who she considered her second daughter.

Born in Trenton she was a lifelong Trenton and Hamilton Township resident. She retired in 1983 after 31 years of service with General Motors Inland Fisher Guide Plant in Ewing Township. Catherine was a member of the United auto workers local 731 and retirees group, enjoy trips to Atlantic City and weekend polka dances locally and in the Poconos and PA with her husband Edward. Kathryn enjoyed reading especially mysteries and TV weekly serial mystery programs she also enjoyed watching the old classic movies. She was renowned for her cooking skills especially her “city” chicken recipe.

Family and Friends are invited to gather for a Funeral Home Service on Friday August 11, 2017 at 11:00 am with Fr. Ed Kwoka, Sacred Heart Parish Officiatin­g at the Winowicz Funeral Home, Corner of Adeline and Beatty Streets. Calling Hours will be from 10:00am to 11:00am. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Hamilton Township.
