TRENTON

Drug Arrest: Erik Carroll, 47, of Trenton, was arrested Thursday evening on drug charges. Trenton Street Crime Unit detectives on the 200block of Tyler Street observed Carroll smelling a large bag of suspected marijuana about 6:30 p.m. Detectives approached Carroll, and he turned the marijuana over to them without incident. Police took Carroll into custody and allegedly seized 58grams of marijuana from him.

More Drug Arrests: Allen Bing, 28, and Corey Martin, 28, both of Trenton, were arrested Thursday night on drug distributi­on charges. A vehicle was traveling on Market Street at a high rate of speed and failed

to stop at a red traffic light at Jackson and Market streets about 10:10p.m. Police saw the infraction and conducted a motor vehicle stop on the vehicle in the area of Market and South Broad streets. The officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Police recovered 90grams of pot and $1,072in currency that was seized as suspected proceeds of narcotics transactio­ns. The occupants of the vehicle, identified as Bing and Martin, were brought into police custody and charged with multiple drug offenses. Bing, the alleged driver, was further charged with failure to observe

a traffic signal and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Alleged Domestic Violence: Edward Warren, 45, of Trenton, was arrested Thursday afternoon on simple assault domestic violence charges on allegation­s he attacked his exgirlfrie­nd. Police were detailed to the 400block of Garfield Avenue about 2:15p.m. Thursday on a report of domestic violence. The victim spoke to police, telling the officers that she got into a verbal dispute with her ex-boyfriend Warren that turned physical. Warren allegedly grabbed the victim by her hair, pushed her into a wall and punched her in the face. Warren remained on scene when police arrived and was taken into custody and charged with the assault.

More Alleged Domestic Violence: Nathaniel Quattlebau­m, 39, of Trenton, was arrested early Friday on simple assault domestic violence charges on allegation­s he beat his wife. Police responded to the 400 block of Lalor Street about 3:30a.m. Friday on a report of unknown trouble. The officers met with the victim, who told police that she was involved in a verbal dispute with her husband Quattlebau­m that turned physical. Quattlebau­m allegedly struck his wife several times with a fist to her body and face. Police arrested Quattlebau­m a short while later on the 1400 block of West State Street.

PRINCETON

Pervert Grabs Victim’s Buttocks: Princeton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in connection with a groping incident that occurred Thursday morning. In the incident, a female victim was alerted by the sound of someone abruptly approachin­g her from behind as she walked eastbound on the 100block of Mercer Street about 9:10 a.m. The victim turned around to observe a man very close to her who then grabbed her buttocks and pushed her forward, causing the victim to fall to the ground. The man then fled in a westerly direction and is believed to have turned South on Springdale Road. The assailant was described by the victim as a Hispanic male, approximat­ely 30-to-40years of age, approximat­ely 5-foot-5, sporting short hair that was spiked on top and wearing a blue T-shirt with two buttons or dots on the front near the collar. The groper was also said to have medium skin complexion. Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area of Mercer Street and Springdale Road between 9and 9:30 a.m. to contact Detective Holly Arana at (609) 921-2100, Extension 1834, if they have witnessed the criminal sexual contact or observed any activity that may help police solve this ongoing investigat­ion. Alleged Driving While Intoxicate­d: Rahul Krishnamoo­rthy, 24, of Robbinsvil­le, was arrested early Friday subsequent to a motor vehicle crash on charges he was driving while intoxicate­d. He was taken to Princeton Police headquarte­rs, where he was processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date and subsequent­ly released to a sober adult. The crash occurred about 1:10 a.m. Friday on the 100 block of Red Hill Road.
