Mary O. Latella, 89, of Hamilton
Mary O. Latella, 89, of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at home, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Trenton in 1928, Mary was a lifelong Trenton – Hamilton resident.
Mary was a homemaker raising seven children before taking a job with the State of New Jersey, Department of Human Services, where she retired in 1998 after 15 years of service.
She was a graduate of Cathedral High School, a life member of Sacred Heart Church, a member of the Seton Associates Daughters of Erin, The Red Hatters, and Cathedral Alumni Association. A devout Catholic, her faith was a guiding force in her life. She loved to travel and was very content with her position as the matriarch of a large extended family. Daughter of the late Warren W. and Mary Frascella Orpen, wife of the late Richard D Latella, mother of the late Kathy Burke, and mother-in-law of the late Judy Latella.
Mary is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Richard and Laura Latella, William Latella, and Barry Latella; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Jeffrey Migliaccio, Cheri and Eric Potts, and Lori and Bill Kube; sonin-law James Burke, 13 grandchildren, Tara and Stephen Barbieri, Katie Burke and Anthony Issac,Patrick Burke, Alex and Monica Latella , Jeffrey and Nicole Migliaccio, Lauren and Elizabeth Latella, EJ, Marisa and Cameron Potts, Karlie and Jamie Kube, Briana Latella, a two great grandchildren Lorenzo and Giada Barbieri; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, from 5:00 – 8:00p.m. at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel, 1799 Klockner Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
Funeral will be held on Thursday morning at 8:45 am. at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church 343 South Broad Street, Trenton, NJ 08608.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton , NJ Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Sacred Heart Church.
