M. Peters, 90, of Trenton, NJ, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Compassion­ate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, NJ, Margaret was a life-long area resident and member of Immaculate Conception Church. After graduating from Trenton Central High School, Margaret worked at Wiley Hughes Supply Company until her retirement. She took part in the Villa Park Neighborho­od Watch, enjoyed traveling, swimming, shopping, reading the paper, doing word finds, playing cards, going out to eat, and watching ball games on television-especially when her beloved Yankees were playing. Most of all, Margaret loved spending time with her friends and family-especially her grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren. She attended all their school events, sport activities, holiday celebratio­ns, and particular­ly enjoyed summer vacations with them at Long Beach Island. Margaret or “Margie” was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Colacello; sister of her late brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Betty Colacello and her late oldest brother and sister-in-law, Alfred and Genevieve Coley. Predecease­d by her husband, Charles J. Peters, Sr.; Margaret or “Marge” is survived by her two step-sons and their spouses, Charles J. Peters Jr. and Larayne, and Michael David Peters and Joanne; four grandchild­ren and their spouses, Charles J. Peters III (CJ) and Mary, Nicole and Michael Bates, Stephanie Peters and her late husband Joseph Gardell, and Michael Lorenzo Peters; five great-grandchild­ren, Julia and Charles J. Peters IV (Rex), Michael, Nicole and Stephen Bates; her three nieces and nephew and their spouses, Virginia and Tom Gregg, Suzanne and William Hullfish, Carol and Robert Colacello, and her caregivers, Kim and Robin. Funeral services will begin on Friday, September 8, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church-Our Lady of the Angels Parish, 540 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08611. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Hamilton.
