Caroline A. Soss, 91, of Mercerville passed away on Thursday September, 14, 2017 at her home in Mercerville.

Daughter of the late Pawel & Katarzyna Kopec Potocki; wife of the late John W. Soss; sister of the late Joseph, Frank, John, Stanley “Stichie” Potocki, Sophie Farina, Frances Parcinski, Mary Wisniewski, Betha “Bert” Wargo, Lottie Repko, Helen Krol, Stephanie Szuter and Catherine Soganic; son in law Thomas E Dolan

Surviving is her son John & Nancy Soss of Long Beach Township; 2 daughters Kathie S & Robert J Prihoda of Hamilton Square and Karen S. Dolan of Mercerville; 6 grandchildren Jennifer Soss, John A. Soss, Lauren, Robert Prihoda, Stephen, Michael Prihoda, and Karen Prihoda; sister Josephine Ratkiewicz of Langhorne PA; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Born in Trenton Caroline was a lifelong Trenton and Hamilton Township resident. She retired in 1992 after 27 years of service for Carter Wallace Pharmaceutical in Cranbury NJ. She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans, Holy Cross Post 417 and Holy Cross P.T.A. Caroline was a Philadelphia Phillies Baseball enthusiast and enjoyed attending her grandchildren various sports activities, enjoyed preparing the traditional Sunday family dinners which were very important to her as well as painting the Polish traditions at ever holiday, year round.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday September 20 at 10:00am at the Winowicz Funeral Home 308 Adeline Street, calling hours will be Tuesday Night from 5:30pm to 8:00pm and again Wednesday from 9:00am to 10:00am(time of service). Following the service at the Winowicz Funeral Home, a Mass will follow in Holy Cross Church, Trenton. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Hamilton Township. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a memorial contribution be made to Catholic Youth Organization, 920 South Broad Street, Trenton 08611.
