TRENTON
Woman Charged With Vicious Attack: Anne Fink, 46, of Trenton, was arrested Thursday night and charged with aggravated assault on allegations she attacked a female family member during a family dispute. The incident occurred about 10 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of Barnt Avenue. The victim suffered a nasal fracture and head injury and went to Saint Francis Medical Center for treatment.
Armed Teen Conceals Loaded Weapon: Nazir McKinnon, 18, of Trenton, was arrested Thursday night and charged with unlawful possession of a loaded handgun. Trenton Street Crimes Unit detectives about 9p.m. Thursday conducted an investigation on the first block of Bellevue Avenue upon receiving information that weapons may have been stashed in the area. When the officers arrived on scene they saw two individuals who jumped a fence into a vacant lot. One of the individuals, later identified as McKinnon, grabbed his waistband and started running toward Bellevue Avenue. He was ordered to stop but kept running. McKinnon continued running until he ran into a fence with barbed wire on top, forcing him to stop. Further police investigation found McKinnon in alleged possession of a loaded semi-automatic handgun. He was placed under arrest by Trenton Police Officers Harrison Steimle, Matthew Hutchinson and Stewart Owens. The other individual who had jumped the fence with McKinnon was ultimately released at the scene without being arrested or charged.
Burglar Ransacks Vehicle: Matthew Maffei, 30, of Trenton, was arrested Thursday night and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle. The victim of the crime was a civilian who had detained Maffei on the 500block of Lamberton Street until police could respond. When officers arrived on scene about 8:25p.m. Thursday, the victim told police that his vehicle had been ransacked. The burglary to the auto occurred earlier this month, with the victim discovering the desecration to his vehicle’s interior on Sept. 14. The victim had surveillance video of the incident and reviewed the footage. The victim identified the perpetrator in the video as Maffei. The victim saw Maffei in the 500block of Lamberton Street Thursday night and detained him until police arrived. The officers found probable cause and arrested Maffei on motor vehicle burglary charges. Romantic Couple Fights: David Davis, 40, of Hamilton, and Angela Howard, 50, of Trenton, were arrested Thursday morning on simple assault charges following a domestic dispute. Davis and Howard were involved in a romantic relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend when they engaged in a verbal argument that allegedly turned physical on the 900block of Franklin Street. Both defendants suffered minor injuries during the altercation.

Thieves Steal Items From Vehicles: Unknown thieves entered multiple vehicles overnight and took property. The string of thefts occurred to vehicles that were parked on Stuyvesant Avenue and Walton Avenue in Ewing Township. Some of the vehicles were reportedly unlocked, making it simple for the thieves to enter those vehicles. The thief or thieves targeted four vehicles on Stuyvesant Avenue and two unlocked vehicles on Walton Avenue. These six incidents were all reported to Ewing Police on Thursday. The Ewing Township Police Department’s press blotter did not say what items were taken from the vehicles and did not disclose the monetary value of the stolen property in any of the incidents. No arrests have been announced as of Friday morning.
House Burglarized: A burglar entered a house on Bear Tavern Road during the day and took some property. The incident was reported to police Thursday afternoon. No arrests have been announced as of Friday morning.
Minivan Stolen: A car thief stole a 2006 silver Honda Odyssey bearing New Jersey plate registration W84BRG. The vehicle was stolen from the parking lot located behind 10 Mercer St. between 10 p.m. on Sept. 19 and 10:37 p.m. on Sept. 20. The victim also reported that the key and the E-ZPass were left inside of the vehicle at the time of the theft.
