Sun National Bank Center in Trenton becomes CURE Insurance Arena

TRENTON » Spectra by Comcast Spectacor on Wednesday announced a new multi-year agreement with CURE Auto Insurance in which Mercer County’s 10,000-seat arena will immediatel­y be renamed the CURE Insurance Arena. Terms of the deal were not announced.

The Trenton arena was previously known as the Sun National Bank Center.

The deal includes exterior and interior signage and brand recognitio­n in all advertisin­g for the facility. The arena’s website domain changed today to reflect the arena’s new name (www.cureinsura­ncearena. com). All signage is expected to be in place by Dec. 31, 2017.

“CURE Auto Insurance is thrilled to form this partnershi­p with Mercer County and become the naming rights sponsor of its arena,” said Eric Poe, Chief Operating Officer, CURE Auto Insurance. “Becoming the title sponsor was an easy decision to make, given the pride we have in the community of Mercer County.”

“CURE’s positive brand associatio­n resonates strongly throughout our community and will be helpful in generating excitement around the arena and our events,” said Spectra’s Fran Rodowicz, General Manager, CURE Insurance Arena. “We are fortunate to collaborat­e with CURE and their valuable marketing prowess to help us crosspromo­te the arena.”

The venue’s new naming rights deal will coincide with exciting new entertainm­ent coming to the arena which includes platinum-selling country star Justin Moore on February 23, 2018.

Spectra’s Partnershi­ps division, which specialize­s in naming rights and sponsorshi­p sales, identified and negotiated the naming rights contract with CURE Auto Insurance. In Trenton, Spectra also provides Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitalit­y to the arena.
