Patricia A. McGuckin Alexander, 79, of Hamilton

Patricia A. McGuckin Alexander, 79, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1956 graduate of Hamilton High School and a 1958 graduate of Endicott College. She was a former member of Rainbow Girls, the Nottingham Women’s Club and the Mercer and Burlington WOW’s Club. Patty was a longtime member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Hamilton and was employed with the Hamilton Township School System as a substitute teacher for 30 years. Patty was an avid Bridge player and horseback rider.

Predeceased by her parents, John and Mildred (Lawton) McGuckin and her husband, Richard W. Alexander; she is survived by her son, Brent J. Alexander and his fiancé, Ally Chew; her companion, James Stout and the Lawton, Scott, Steel, Fitzmeyer and Alexander families.

Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
