President Donald Trump told another despicable lie about former President Barack Obama.

Trump claimed Monday that Obama did not contact families of fallen U.S. soldiers.

“If you look at President Obama and other presidents, most of them didn’t make calls — a lot of them didn’t make calls — I like to make calls when it’s appropriate,” Trump said at a press conference in the Rose Garden.

Trump walked back his falsetto falsespeak after realization that his lie had raced out of his magical bag of fraudulent comments, common for this deplorable U.S. leader.

Pressed about his words regarding Obama, Trump bandaged his massive mouth hemorrhage.

“I don’t know if he did,” the president said. “I was told he didn’t often, and a lot of presidents don’t. They write letters.”

“President Obama, I think, probably did sometimes and maybe sometimes he didn’t,” Mr. Trump continued.

“That’s what I was told. All I can do is ask my generals.”

Generally speaking, Trump dumped his lies at the feet of military subordinates instead of just taking ownership for another breach of decency.

Apparently, this new brand of patriotism tethers disrespect for President Obama as Trump plays race cards and his supporters oblige allegiance.

Knowing that his base will accept any criticism about black Obama, Trump moved away from criticisms that involved President George W. Bush and President Bill Clinton.

Trump depicts National Football League players as disrespectful when they kneel during the national anthem yet he declares open season on U.S. war hero Sen. John McCain, and presidents Bush, Clinton and Obama.

NBA San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich referenced Trump as a “soulless coward” after the president lied about former presidents not call family members of fallen soldiers.

“I’ve been amazed and disappointed by so much of what this President had said, and his approach to running this country, which seems to be one of just a never ending divisiveness. But his comments today about those who have lost loved ones in times of war and his lies about previous presidents Obama and Bush never contacted their families, is so beyond the pale, I almost don’t have words,” Popovich told Dave Zirin, sports editor at The Nation.

Popovich apparently phoned Zirin and asked for an on the record conversation which included these criticisms.

“This man in the Oval Office is a soulless coward who thinks the can only become large by belittling others. This has of course been a common practice of his, but to do it in this manner — and to lie about how previous presidents responded to the deaths of soldiers — is as low as it gets,” Zirin wrote.

“We have a pathological liar in the White House: unfit intellectually, emotionally, and psychologically to hold this office and the whole world knows it, especially those around him every day. The people who work with this President should be ashamed because they know it better than anyone just how unfit he is, and yet they choose to do nothing about it. This is their shame most of all.”

Most people expected a tweeted reply from Trump but the president has remained silent. Trump received a smack down by Popovich and just like our parents always predicted, bullies are pussy cats.

Somewhere former Republican presidential candidates like Texas Sen. Rafael Edward “Ted” Cruz, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie wish they had stood up against Trump instead of tail tucking during the Republican campaign.

Apparently, at least for Popovich, Trump has no answer nor lies about the star San Antonio coach.
