Paul Joseph LeCompt Sr. of Willingboro

Paul Joseph LeCompt Sr. of Willingboro, NJ age 88 passed away October 15, 2017 in Rosenhayn, NJ.

Born in Lawrenceville, NJ and was a resident of Willingboro for 45 years.

He graduated from Princeton High School, Princeton, NJ in 1948.

Paul was employed by General Motors for over 35 years and retired in 1992.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1953, and was a member of American Legion Post #218 and a former member of Aaron Lodge # 9 Princeton, NJ.

Son of the late Fredrick Calvin LeCompt and Frances Bosley LeCompt, brother of the late Fred LeCompt, Stephen LeCompt, Mary LeCompt Ferguson, and Frances Ballton, father of the late Kim Streater and father-in-law of the late Darlene Streater, and uncle of the late Timothy Ferguson.

Paul is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sharon Rose, his sons, Harold Richardson (Vanessa), Kevin Streater, Derek Streater (Cindy), and Paul LeCompt Jr., his daughters Laura LeCompt, and Sharon P. LeCompt, his daughter-inlaw, Denise Streater, his nephew, Carl “Fella” Ballton (Lula), his niece, Pamela Stigars-Thomas, his Goddaughters, Janice Stewart-Williamson and Annie Baker, 26 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 10am Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 150 East 2nd Street, Burlington, NJ. Calling hour will be 9am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be Brid. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jazz Bridge, 3008 Limekiln Pike, Glenside, PA 19038. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
