Coke Bust: Keisha Williams, 34, of Plainfield, and Sapphire Gomez, 22, of Elizabeth, were arrested last week after police allegedly found 201grams of cocaine in a car they occupied. Officials say the arrests concluded a monthlong investigation, during which detectives received information about cocaine being delivered to Trenton

by someone driving a silver Honda Civic. On October 26, surveillance officers saw a silver Honda Civic leaving the New Jersey Turnpike toll plaza at exit 7A. The cops followed the vehicle until it reached Hamilton Avenue. Cops then conducted a motor vehicle stop and a K-9detected drugs in the car. When police searched the vehicle, they found 201 grams of powder cocaine in the trunk. Police say the approximate street value of the cocaine is $20,100. Williams and Gomez are each charged with several drug offenses. The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force conducted the investigation and arrests.

Robbery Pleas: Rodney Day, 26, and Zeldrick Nance, 30, both from Trenton, pleaded guilty to robberies that happened last year. According to prosecutors in the case, in September 2016, Day, Nance and 34-year-old Lisa Anderson, of Griffithville, Arkansas, robbed a Willingboro Metro PCS store. Day brandished a firearm while Nance duct taped the store occupants and put them in a store bathroom. Meanwhile, Anderson stole cellular phones and money from the cash registers. During the robbery, Day also demanded keys to a car owned by one of the victims. The trio then fled with the stolen cellphones and money in that stolen car. The trio also committed similar robberies at a Lumberton Metro PCS store on Oct. 7, 2016, and at a Levittown, Pa., Metro PCS store on Oct. 12, 2016. Day and Nance are scheduled to be sentenced to prison in February 2018. Anderson, who previously pled guilty to her role in the robberies, is scheduled to be sentenced next month.

Shooting Arrest: Rezair Moore, 29, was arrested Wednesday in connection with a shooting that happened on August 7, when a 17-year-old male was shot in the buttocks while walking on Beakes Street. Devante Taylor, 23, was previously arrested in connection with the same shooting, which remains under investigation. Moore is charged with attempted murder and related weapons offenses.

Heroin and Crack: Shawn Ronald Harris, 42, was arrested early Thursday morning after police allegedly found him in possession of 25decks of heroin, two grams of crack cocaine and a marijuana blunt. Officials say detectives from the Street Crimes Unit were in the area of Walnut Avenue and Monmouth Street when they saw Harris engaged in drug deals. When cops approached him, officials say, Harris was smoking the blunt. A subsequent search revealed the other drugs. Police also seized $398as suspected proceeds from drug sales.
