Vernon R. Beatty Sr. of Jamesburg
Vernon R. Beatty Sr. of Jamesburg died Thursday November 2nd at his home.
Born in Crosswicks, NJ, Mr. Beatty lived in Jamesburg for the past 35 years.
He was employed for over 20 years as a truck driver for C.H. Excavating, Monroe Township, retiring in 2015.
He was enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. He also enjoyed fixing anything mechanical.
Mr. Beatty was predeceased by his three sisters Gertrude Karch, Shirley Bergner and Arlene Beatty.
Surviving are his wife of 14 years Marie Craparotta, his two sons Vernon Jr. and Ronald (Melissa) Beatty, his two daughters Christine (James) Laudenslager and Donna (Brian) Dianna, his stepchildren David (Sherri) Bell Jr. and Christa Bell, his three brothers Leon (Fran) Beatty Jr., Ron (Bette) Beatty and Charles Beatty, his three sisters Joyce, Gail and Janet Beatty, thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday November 5th at 3:30 p.m. at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg, NJ.
Private burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Monroe Twp., NJ.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be Sunday 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
