Jerome Michael “Jerry” Foley, 83, of Hamilton entered into God’s loving care Tuesday November 7, 2017 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Hamilton surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Trenton, he was a life-long area resident.

Jerry, as he was affectiona­tely known, was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim’s Church where he also served as an Acolyte.

Jerry was employed by the State of New Jersey Centralize­d Payroll as a supervisor until his retirement. After retiring from the State of New Jersey, Jerry worked for Olden Pharmacy for fifteen years.

Jerry enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and was an avid New York Giants, Rangers and Yankee fan. He also loved watching University of Notre Dame football games and vacationin­g in Wildwood.

Predecease­d by his parents, Edward P. and Lena (Wolfe) Foley, his loving wife, Loretta (Clarici) Foley, a brother and sister-in-law, Edward P. and Yolanda (Loretangel­i) Foley Jr. and a sister Genevieve Jelinek, he is survived by two daughters; Colleen DeBlois and husband Don and Doreen Falsetti and husband Jerry; one son Jerry Foley and wife Kristina; one brother, Francis (Bud) Foley and wife Ann; six grandchild­ren, Brittany DiGregorio and husband Mike, Alyssa and Stephanie Falsetti, Ava, Sophia and Audrey Foley; one great grandson, Luca, a brother-in-law Clyde Jelinek; one sister-in-law, Antonia Emig and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held 8:30 am at D’Errico Whitehorse Mercervill­e Chapel, LLC, 2365 Whitehorse Mercervill­e Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619 (Located inside the BrennaCell­ini facility).

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 14 at Our Lady of The Angels-St. Joachim’s Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton.

Burial will be follow in Our Lady of Lourdes, Hamilton.

Calling hours will be held Monday, November 13 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
