Ruby Lee Morris of Trenton, NJ age 74 passed away November 6,

2017 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton, NJ.

Born in Thompson, Alabama (Bullock County), she was a resident of Trenton for 48 years (since 1969).

She was educated in the Bullock County School System.

She was employed by Jim’s Cleaning Service for 31 years.

Daughter of the late Joe L. Morris and Minnie Calhoun-Morris, sister of her late Sandy, Jessie, John, Joe, and Milton, Mary Johnson, and Louella Oliver.

Ruby is survived by her daughters, Linda L. Sanders, Barbara J. Knox, and Lisa Morris-Brown ( Andrew Brown), three brothers, Willie James, Charles, and Henry (Georgeann), one sister, Minnie Watson (Deles), five grandchildren, Tamika, Eugene, Mark, Ashley, and Shaniqua, six great grandchildren, Aniya, Ta’kai, Ta’von, Aiyanna, Jamil, and Mark III, a special daughter, Lucy Fields, special friends, Fannie Smith, Sandra Brown, Gerald and Sandra Saunders, and Helen McCall.

Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Trenton Deliverance Center, 1100 S. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
