Peter Borowsky Named Vice President of Operations at Starr Transit Co., Inc.
Starr Transit Co., Inc., second generation owners Alan and Renee Glickman are pleased to announce their son-in-law, Pete Borowsky, has joined Starr as the Vice President of Operations. Pete is the husband of the Glickmans’ daughter, Sandy Borowsky, who joined Starr 19 years ago and currently serves as Vice President of Tours and Marketing.
For the past 20 years, Pete has worked in the technology industry at companies with a focus on both business to consumer and business to business products. Having spent time at startups (Half.com, Clutch) and established companies (eBay), Pete has worked across Product Management, Operations, Payments & Fulfillment, Marketing, and Development groups. He has even started his own company, www.Zatista.com, an online art gallery focused on quality original art. Prior to working in technology, Pete spent several years in film production in Los Angeles, working on television shows, movies, commercials, and music videos. Pete is an experienced and seasoned business professional with broad experience
As Starr’s VP of Operations, Pete will work side by side with the senior management team in all areas of the business, and incorporate his knowledge and broad experience focusing on Starr’s continued growth and business operational development.

Starr provides services in the southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware areas. The company has grown to provide bus services and packaged tours to over 100 destinations worldwide. In addition, Starr’s Charter Division has grown substantially providing transportation fulfillment, tour and convention shuttle services, group tours, and transportation services for a multitude of special events and renowned organizations.
