Kecia R. Ellis-Sanders of Lawrence Twp.

Kecia R. EllisSanders, 45, of Lawrence Twp.,

NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.

Born and raised in Trenton, Kecia was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1990. Kecia worked for NJ Manufacturers Ins. Group before starting her 20year career as a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service.

She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, who was baptized on May 8, 2011.

Kecia was predeceased by her stepfather, David Steele and maternal grandparents, Charles and Grace Brown. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her beloved husband, Leo Sanders; daughter, Taja Ellis of Columbia, MD; son, Karee Ellis-Westscott of Lawrenceville, NJ; mother, Evelyn Steele of Kissimmee, FL; father, Roachelis Ellis of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Eric Ellis (Fanis) of Kissimmee, FL and Bryan Brown of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Patrice Brown of Ewing, NJ; two aunts, Teresa Vanderhall (Tyrone) of Pensacola, FL and Hattie Thomas of Feasterville, PA; five uncles, Alvin (Connie) of Los Angeles, CA, Charles (Faye) , Willie, and Michael all of Pensacola, FL, and Clarence Brown of Phoenix, AZ; special cousin, Erica Brown of Oakland, CA; special spiritual sister, Belinda Norman; special friend, Tyrone Gee; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 12:30 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1581 Sixth St., Ewing, NJ.

Interment will be held in Ewing Cemetery.

Calling hours will held on Saturday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Hall.

Arrangements are under the direction of Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
