Louis J. DeAngelo of Ewing entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the age of 91. Louis was a lifelong area resident of Trenton and Ewing Township. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and retired in 1974 from the Iron Workers Local 68. Because his parents passed away at an early age, he resided with his brother and sister-in-law, Pasquale and Marie DeAngelo and their children Patricia and Annemarie whom he treated as his own.

Louis lived life his own way. He loved flying, water sports, animals and most of all Atlantic City where everyone knew his name. He often included his family on trips to the mountains for snow skiing in the winter and boating in the summer. His family always came first. Louis was a loving and devoted brother, uncle and friend.

Son of the late Salvatore and Mary (Commiso) DeAngelo; brother of the late Pasquale “Pat” DeAngelo, Rachael DeAngelis, Belle Falcey and Betty Pirone; he is survived by his two sisters, Mary Kane and Rose Keefer; his two nieces, Annemarie DeAngelo and Paricia DeAngelo Sandlin and her husband Frank Imbert; two special girls that were like his grandchild­ren, Caitlin and Brenna Grant; a great nephew, Jason Sandlin; and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and other family and friends including Jan Betor who has also been a special part of the family.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 am at Incarnatio­n Church, 1545 Pennington Rd., Ewing, NJ.. Entombment will follow in Ewing Cemetery, 78 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ. Family and friends may call Thursday morning from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Parkside BrennaCell­lini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing NJ, 08638.
