Weledji leads Princeton women past Delaware

PRINCETON » Tia Weledji scored a career-high 22 points on 8-for-12 from the floor and the Princeton women’s basketball team bounced back with a resounding 78-60 victory over Delaware on Saturday afternoon at Jadwin Gym.

Weledji, a senior form Overland Park, Kansas, is averaging 11.1 points per game for the Tigers (4-2).

Carlie Littlefield added 15 points and Leslie Robinson finished with 14. Sophomore Bella Alaire, who had 29 and nine rebounds in the near-miss against No. 25 Villanova, chipped in with nine and nine boards.
