Last week, Alshon Jeffery hinted that winning, not purely money, would factor into the next contract he signed at this stage of a six-year career.

On Saturday, he confirmed it, signing a fouryear contract extension tying him to the Eagles through 2021.

The deal is worth up to $52 million, per reports, with $27 million in guarantees.

In reaching agreement before the Eagles flew to Seattle to begin a two-game West Coast road trip, Jeffery showed he didn’t care to test the free agency market that might have meant more compensation.

“Like I said the other day, I love it here,” Jeffery said in a statement furnished by the Eagles. “I’m blessed to have the opportunity to play for this organization and for these fans. Everyone has welcomed me with open arms and now I’m looking forward to being here for a long time. We have a great group here, and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Jeffery, 27, with seven touchdowns is tied for the team lead and fifth in the NFL. He’s second on the Eagles with 43 receptions and 619 yards. He also leads the team with three two-point conversions.

In his career, Jeffery has 347 catches for 5,168 yards (14.9 avg.) and 33 TDs in 74 career games, 67 of them starts.

“Alshon has been a tremendous addition to this organization on and off the field,” the Eagles said in a statement. “We place a priority on making sure we are able to build the team around quality players like Alshon who embrace this team and this city the way he has. We are excited about his future here.”

Jeffery is a 2012 secondround pick of the Bears. He left the team to join the Eagles in free agency after just one winning season there.

The Eagles inked Jeffery to a one-year $9.5 million pact.

Jeffrey ranks eighth in the NFL with 4,801 receiving yards since 2013.

The Eagles (10-1) put their nine-game win streak on the line Sunday night against the Seahawks (7-4) at CenturyLink Field. A victory would clinch the Eagles’ first NFC East pennant since 2013, and a playoff berth. It also would be a record 10th straight triumph.

After the contest, the Birds jet to Los Angeles, where they will remain the week leading up to a game the following Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Eagles will practice at Angels Stadium in Anaheim.
