Ewing
Shoplifting while Pregnant: Police are searching for an alleged pregnant woman who stole toys from ShopRite on North Olden Avenue. Police say the woman lingered in the store for several minutes on November 29, before fleeing the business carrying two toy dolls valued at $279. Police say she then fled in a vehicle that appears the be a Jeep Cherokee. The woman, who appears to be in her mid-twenties and pregnant, is shown wearing a Tommy Hilfiger hoodie and Army sandals in surveillance footage of the incident. Robbinsville
DWI and Gun: Joseph Burg, 63, of Chesterfield, and Jarrett Coney, 29, of McGuire Air Force Base, were recently arrested during a DWI investigation that uncovered a loaded firearm in the vehicle. Officials initially stopped Burg for reckless driving on Route 526. During the investigation,
officials say, cops found an open container of alcohol in the car. Further investigation revealed that a minor in the car had access to a loaded firearm that cops found in the vehicle. Coney is charged with possession of a loaded firearm and allowing a minor access to a loaded firearm. Pot Bust: Tejas Sriprasad, 34, was arrested for marijuana possession during a traffic stop on Route 130. Sriprasad was initially stopped for failure to keep right.
Armed with Hash: Dominic Riggs, 18, was arrested after police allegedly found a weapon, marijuana and hashish during a traffic stop on Route 130. Cops initially stopped Riggs for failure to maintain a lane of travel. Riggs was also charged with drug distribution offenses. Pot Bust: Vladimir Volcy, 19, of Hamilton, was arrested for marijuana possession during a traffic stop on Route 130.
Drugs and Driving: Siria Bonilla, 21, of Hamilton, and Durvan Thompson, 26, of Trenton, were arrested after police allegedly found marijuana during a traffic stop on Route 130.
Drugs and Driving Too: Nicholas Simms, 23, of Hamilton, was arrested for marijuana possession during a traffic stop for speeding on Coombs Road. Simms was also charged with driving under the influence of drugs, destruction of evidence and other motor vehicle offenses.
Flemington
Assault: Maynor Dominguez, 29, and Oscar Dominguez, 26, both of Flemington, were arrested after an alleged assault at the Hunter Hills Apartments complex. Officials say a male victim was assaulted by the two men during an argument around 4:48 a.m. Sunday. Police were initially told that someone was shot during the argument, and that a gunman was still inside an apartment at the complex, so a SWAT team was dispatched to the scene. Officials say the victim was not shot and the suspects were safely arrested. Maynor is charged with aggravated assault and related weapons offenses. Oscar is charged with simple assault.
