Strengths: Charache (73 career wins) was 30-11 and first at districts. The physical Andre was an MCT champion, second at districts and posted an outstanding record of 37-5. He enters the season with 82 career wins and just 24 short of the school record. Farish and Bonilla are among the promising newcomers who will hold their own. Thornton was 20-17 and Garzon posted 11 wins. Outlook: Hightstown is young with a sizable chunk of its lineup consisting of sophomores, but you know Russo (236 careers wins) will bring them along. There’s some talent here and the Rams could very well repeat as the division champ. second at districts and compiled a record of 30-8. Dan Schneider finished with a record of 22-13. Santos will provide plenty of points at the end after going 21-15. The team enters the season with more varsity experience than in recent years. Bearce had a winning record. Outlook: Notre Dame will be an improved team and could finish .500 or better, especially if some of its newcomers develop quickly. Outlook: Unless the team can find some more wrestlers to fill out the weights, this will again be a season in which the highlights will be on an individual basis.
