Head Coach — Conor Hayes (second season).

Assistant Coaches — Bob Boyce, Jeff Fisher.

Last Season — 11-13 overall, 3-5 CVC Patriot, NJSIAA Central Jersey Group II first round.

Outlook — Robbinsville looks to be aggressive on defense and share the ball on offense. After graduating 1,000-point scorer Lucas Olshevski, the Ravens bring back three players who saw a lot of varsity action. Bragg is the team’s leader and best defender. Bork is an athletic, high-energy player who can get to the rim and knock down outside shots. Also watch for two key newcomers in Griffin and Tierney. Griffin won a hard-fought point guard battle in the preseason, and Tierney is an explosive two-way guard. Nymere Whitaker 6-0 So. G Matt Swiezkowski 5-6 So. G C.J. Pittaro 6-2 So. F Emanuel Obika 5-8 So. G Rohan Ming 6-1 So. G Trevor Giordano 5-10 So. G Brady Plunkett 5-9 Jr. G Rocco Picciolo 6-0 Jr. F Mario Mazur 6-2 Jr. G Jah’Meir Frederick 5-9 Jr. G Joshua Morrison 5-10 Fr. G Aaron Lal 6-1 Fr. F Head Coach — Kyle Flanagan (first season).

Assistant Coaches — Matt Petrowski, Al Mostrangeli, Rich Everett, Mason Cueto.

Last Season — 3-23 overall, 2-6 CVC Patriot.

Outlook — Flanagan, formerly the coach at Robbinsville, takes over at his alma mater with the task of getting Steinert’s program back to respectability. Returning players to watch are double-figure scorers Mazur (12.7 points per game) and Jean-Mary (10.7 points per game) and Giordano, the team’s point guard. Two new players are Lamont and Cohen. Lamont will add length and athleticism to the frontcourt, while Cohen has the potential to be a sparkplug with ball-handling and defense. The Spartans’ goals are modest, but Flanagan is focused on getting this team better every day with a defense-first mindset.
