Karen Lorraine Collins unexpected­ly departed this life on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton, NJ.

Lorraine was born on March 18, 1970, to Joe and Alice Irene (Collins) Singleton in New York, NY. Lorraine, as she was affectiona­tely known to family and friends, moved to Hamilton Township (White City), NJ in 1978. Lorraine grew up on William Street and was educated in the Hamilton Township School District. She graduated from Hamilton High West in 1988. She was employed at the Hibbert Group in Trenton for the past 17 years.

Lorraine leaves to cherish her memory a son, Avery Lee and two daughters, Devin Alethia Major, and Camryn “Pudgy” Major, one brother, Edward Tyrone Collins, two sisters, Lawonza Denise Singleton and Audra Von Singleton, one step sister, Shakita Pempleton, and her Soulmate Bryan Teel, five aunts and two uncles, Ethel Louise Collins, Annie Boone, Mary Collins, Virginia and Sam Boyd and Dorothy and Paul Singleton, three nephews, Khydier Vincent, Edward Tyrone Collins Jr. and Khalil Singleton, four nieces, Elizabeth Collins, Sharese Platt, Kaileena Roberts and Shavon Singleton, Godmother, Thretha Crowley, a special friend/ brother Steve Holt and her BFF Cynthia Glover-Perez, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
