William Clayborn Sr. of Lawrenceville

William Clayborn, Sr., 81 of Lawrenceville, NJ, departed this life on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at his home.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Clayborn was educated in the Bucks County Public Schools.

He was an honorably discharged US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #414 of Lawrenceville, NJ.

He retired from James D. Morrissey, Inc. and the Homasote Company with over 20 years of dedicated service at each.

Predeceased by his parents, Abraham and Rebecca Clayborn; a brother, Abraham Clayborn, Jr.; three sisters, Betty Tomlin, Lorraine Medley and Connie Mills and a son-in-law, Ronnie Parker. He is survived by three sons, William Clayborn, Jr. (Yolanda), Corey Clayborn (Kenyatta) and Johnny Clayborn; two daughters, Angela ClaybornWooden (Anthony) and Adrian Clayborn-Parker; four stepchildren, Tina Johnson (Phillip), Dwayne Wright (Fatima), Darrelle Clayborn and Laney Neal; a goddaughter, Lacresha Moore; 25 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and his longtime companion, Sharon Neal.

Funeral Services will be Friday December 22, 2017 at 1:00pm at Campbell Funeral Chapel 1225 Calhoun St. Trenton, NJ.

Entombment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Friday from 11am to 1pm at the chapel.
