Allentown comes up short against North Hunterdon
ALLENTOWN » The Allentown High wrestling team took five of nine bouts off powerful North Hunterdon before falling, 36-23, in a non-league match on Tuesday night.
John Kuchar got the Redbirds off to a great start with a fall at 195-pounds and Parker Flanagan got a 1-0 decisioin at heavyweight to make it 9-6.
Joseph Lamparelli picked up a major decision (12-2) at 120-pounds to slice the Li- ons’ lead to 16-3 before the visitors won the next five bouts to pull away.
Anthony Hienz won by fall at 160-pounds and Liam McDermott picked up a major at 170-pounds.
