Louisa Gertrude Nevin “Neavin”, 75, departed this life on Saturday, December 9th, 2017 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ.

She was born in Port Morant, St. Thomas Jamaica WI. At the age of 53, she moved to Trenton, New Jersey where she lived for 9 years before moving to Palmyra, New Jersey to live with her children.

Louisa was educated in Jamaica. Upon her arrival in USA, she worked at Water’s Edge Nursing Home in housekeepi­ng.

Louisa was a member of The Wesleyan Holiness Church in Jamaica before coming to America. While in America, she attended New Life in Christ Outreach Ministry.

Louisa was predecease­d by her father, George Nevin; her mother, Heather Robinson; two brothers, Noel Robinson and George Nevin; and a sister, Mertella Neavin.

Louisa is survived by sons, Caleb Sigismond Thompson (Fresh Tea), Glenroy Laing, Anston Douglas and Radclife Sutherland; her daughter, Lolita Brown of Palmyra, New Jersey; two brothers, Robert Whittle and Kenneth Thompson; thirteen grandchild­ren; four great-grandchild­ren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 4pm at Campbell Funeral Chapel 1225 Calhoun St. Trenton, NJ.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the chapel.

Final Services and Burial will be in Port Morant, St. Thomas, Jamaica, WI.
