Jared Smith of Hamilton

Jared “Jary” Smith, 69, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, December 20,

2017, at his residence.

Born in Bethlehem,

PA, Jary has resided in Hamilton for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Penn State University and a Vietnam War combat veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He recently retired as head greenskeeper at the Springfield Golf Course after 15 years of service.

Jary was a fearless and devoted Eagles fan. He had a wonderful sense of humor that was appreciated by many.

He enjoyed comradery and spending time at Uno’s of Hamilton.

Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Jean Smith; he is survived by his brothers and sister, Richard, Andrew and Janet Smith; his companion, Sandy Little; his children, Brian Schroeder and Tammy Schroeder; his grandchildren, Tom, Justin, Rebekah and Madeline; and his nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2017, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.

Private interment and Military Honors will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
