Trenton

Mother-Daughter Problems: Imani Hayes, 19, was arrested on the 1900 block of Riverside Drive following a fight with her mom. Police responded to the domestic disturbance where they met with the mother who told her she got into an argument with her daughter. Hayes grew irate during the fight and knocked her mother to the ground and punched her in the face. The woman had signs of injury and complained of pain. Hayes locked herself in her bedroom but opened it for the cops when they came to talk to her. She was taken into custody without incident. Domestic Violence: Antoine Smith, 27, was arrested Wednesday on the 600 block of Rutherford Avenue following a domestic violence flap. The victim told the cops that Smith came to her home and kicked in her door. He was arrested at the scene.

Dirty Deal: Rodney Grades, 28, was arrested after detectives from the street crimes unit saw him do a drug deal. They were involved in an operation in the area of Stuyvesant Avenue and Rosemont Street when they saw Grades do the dirty deal and stopped him. He was found with four grams of crack and also had marijuana on him. Cops also seized $333 in suspected drug proceeds.

DUI: Hector Rosado, 75, was arrested after he was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Police responded about 9 p.m. to the 500 block of Chambers Street, where they spoke with Rosado after he ran into a parked car. He reeked of alcohol, was slurring his words and swaying back and forth. He was hooked and booked for DUI. There were no other injuries and no indication if anyone was in the car at the time Rosado struck it.

Giving them the Slip: Tashawanda Funchess, 35, was hit with escape charges after she slipped handcuffs at Trenton Police headquarters. New Jersey State Police had taken her there after she was arrested on an outstanding warrant. While she was being processed at TPD headquarters, she slipped her hands out of the shackles and wasn’t on the bench when they went back to finish processing. Cops found her meandering near the bench. She was re-cuffed and hit with the additional charges.

Bro-down Hoedown: Kadeem Milburne, 23, was arrested around 2 a.m. on West State Street. Cops got a call for people fighting. When they got there, they found out they were two brothers duking it out. Milburne had bitten his brother on the head during the fight, giving him a cut. The other brother also had scratches on his arms. Cops didn’t say what started the brotherly brawl. Milburne was booked and charged with the offenses. As he was being led off and patted down, cops found a Ziploc bag of marijuana.

Harassment: Kendall

Rossi, 39, was charged with harassment after cops took him into custody at police headquarters. He had a warrant stemming from an incident on Dec. 19 on the 100 block of Liberty Street. Police responded to a call for domestic disturbance after a woman told cops Rossi had been constantly calling and texting her and showing up at her residence.

Lower Makefield Township

Go Away: Someone reported solicitors from Inspire Energy going door to door without permit in the 400 block of Hidden Oaks Drive. Cops told them to stop until they got permits.

Jewel Jacker: Someone stole jewelry from a home on the 1100 block of University Drive. Check Please: Someone reported check fraud that happened Dec. 19 on the 1400 block of Overlook Road. Someone cashed a $750 check without permission.

Another Check Fraud: This one happened on the 1200 block of Shetland Court where cops were told someone made unauthorized use of a credit card for $347.67. Purse Thieves: Two men and a woman entered a Kohl’s on the 1600 block of Big Oak Road and stole handbags. The man jacked two Vera Wang purses and returned them for store credit. He returned not long after that and nabbed another Vera Wang handbag and returned that one for store credit, too. Cops didn’t have a more detailed description of the suspects.
