Frances Carmela Catherine Ritzo Tattoni, age 77, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 with her family at her bedside.

She was born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvan­ia in 1940. She moved to North Trenton where she attended Ewing High School. In 1961, she married Gabriele Tattoni and began a beautiful life together including family, school, church, and of course, Gabe’s Barber Shop, where they worked side by side for 48 years. She and Gabe made Hamilton their wonderful, happy home where they entertaine­d family and friends throughout their lives.

Frances was an active member of the PTA at St. Raphael’s and McCorristi­n High School where her children attended. She was former president of the Ladies auxiliary of the Italian American Sportsmen Club and she was a very devoted Second Vice President and Membership Chair of the Rosary Altar Society of St. Raphael – Holy Angel Parish.

Frances is the wife of the late Gabriele Tattoni and daughter of the late Chivert and Mary Sanzotta Ritzo. She is survived by her son, Joseph Tattoni and wife Julie of Princeton and daughter Marybeth (Tattoni) Shay and husband William of Lawrencevi­lle. Her life treasures are her four beloved grandchild­ren: Jonathan and David Tattoni and Alexander and Victoria Shay. She is also survived by her brothers Albert Ritzo and late wife Marion of Hamilton and Richard Ritzo and wife Karen of Henderson, Nevada; sisters-in-law Bettina Betti and husband Giovanni of Toronto, Canada and Delfina Scardellet­ti D’Alesio and late husband Carlo of Hopewell. She is predecease­d by her brother, Carmen Ritzo (and surviving wife Doris), and sisters, Theresa Ritzo Carsia and husband Nicholas and Mary Ritzo Defelice and husband Andrew, and brother-in-law Dominic Tattoni and wife Maria.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, greatgreat nieces and nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 13, 2018, from Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton (www.Kingstonan­dKemp.com). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton.

Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
