BB Gun Robbery: Zuri Shy, 28, was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly robbed a city deli using a BB gun. Officials say Shy entered the Lucky Star Deli in the 200 block of Tyler Street around 6:30 p.m. and pointed a handgun at an employee. The worker gave Shy an undisclose­d amount of money, according to police who say the victim may not have known the weapon was a BB gun. The employee risked his safety, though, according to officials who say he followed Shy on foot after the robbery and flagged down detectives. After the victim pointed out the robber to police, officials say, Shy ran and tossed the BB gun onto the ground during the chase. After a brief struggle, police arrested Shy and recovered the BB gun, a face mask and proceeds from the robbery. No injuries were reported. Shy is charged with robbery, simple assault, resisting arrest and weapons offenses.

Heroin and Pills: Alexander Pitza-Ramos, 28, was arrested Wednesday after detectives from the Street Crimes Unit interrupte­d an alleged drug deal. Officials say Pitza-Ramos was engaged in an openair narcotics transactio­n around 5:14 p.m. on Rusling Street. When cops searched him, they found 15 decks of heroin and 18 Xanax pills.

Weed and Bullets: Charles Morris-Nollie, 18, was arrested by state police Wednesday for possession of marijuana and hollowpoin­t bullets.

Pill Bust: Zavir Beal, 19, was arrested by state police Wednesday for possession of Oxycodone pills. Heroin Bust: Lisa Anderson, 31, and Duane Landsperge­r, 44, were arrested by state police for possession of heroin and hypodermic needles.

Stolen Salt: Several bags of rock salt were stolen from the 3100 block of Veterans Highway. The loss is estimated at $378.

Theft from Auto: Jewelry and cash were stolen out of a 2003 Oldsmobile that was parked in the 100 block of Chestnut Lane. The loss is estimated at $155. Theft from Auto Too: Cash and an iPad were stolen out of a 2007 Toyota that was parked in the 100 block of Shepherd Lane. The loss is estimated at $103.

Stolen Stereo: A stereo system was stolen out of a 2005 Chevrolet that was parked in the 100 block of Idolstone Road. The loss is estimated at $120.

Gun Theft: A handgun and holster were stolen from a 2002 Hyundai that was parked in the 2500 block of Winton Circle. The loss is estimated at $349.

Missing Meds: Approximat­ely $200 worth of prescripti­on medication was stolen from a property in the 100 block of Parkside Circle.

Stolen Auto: A 2007 Ford truck containing tools and fishing equipment was recently stolen from the 100 block of Ivy Hill Road. Total loss i s estimated at $8,700.

Theft: Someone cut and stole the battery cables on a 1996 Honda that was parked in the 7800 block of Bristol Pike. The loss is estimated at $80.

Theft from Autos: Cash and a GPS unit were stolen out of a 2015 Toyota and a 2001 Chevrolet that were parked in the 500 block of Coventry Avenue. The total loss is estimated at $2,310.
