Jimmie L. Williams, 75, of Trenton, departed this life on January 14,

2018 at Hamilton Grove Healthcare.

Born in Preston, GA, Jimmie was educated in the Trenton Public School System and attended Mercer County Community College.

Holding several advancing career positions, he retired as a Correction­s Captain, from the New Jersey Dept. of Correction­s after 28 years of dedicated service.

A Veteran Marine, Jimmie earned an honorable discharge.

He was a member of Galilee Baptist Church and the Fraternal Order of the Masons.

Predecease­d by his parents, Jimmie and Louise Williams; first wife, Helen Williams; and brothers, Clifford and George Williams, Jimmie’s memory will forever be cherished by his beloved wife, Louise Williams; children, Tracie, Christophe­r (Carol), and Valerie Williams; stepchildr­en, Rhonda Drayton, Derrick Sanders, David C. Munn (Shannon), Davina Brittingha­m, and Douglass Munn; five grandchild­ren; eight step-grandchild­ren; eight great grandchild­ren; sister, Joyce Brown (Stanley); brother, Joseph Williams Sr. (Joyce); sister-in-law, Sonia Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 am at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun Street, Trenton, NJ.

Interment will be on Monday at 9:30 am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9am to 11am at the chapel.

Arrangemen­ts are by Campbell Funeral Chapel.
