Shooting Arrests: Cops arrested two men they believe were involved in the Jan. 6 shooting of a 22-year-old man near Riverview Cemetery. Kalik Johnson, 23, and Jordan Glennon, 24, were charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses for allegedly pistol-whipping the man then shooting him in the hand, cops said. The man ran to a home on Centre Street, where he called the cops. He was taken to the hospital and kept overnight for observation of non-lifethreatening injuries to his hand. Cops this week nabbed the two suspects following an investigation by the Mercer County Shooting Response Team. Cops didn’t say what the motive for the shooting was. The victim was not robbed during the violent affair, cops said. Unlawful Handgun Possession: Rodney Riley, 28, was recently arrested by street crimes detectives and charged with gun and drug offenses after cops were called out around 5p.m. to the 200block of Spring Street for a report of gunfire. There they found Riley standing on a porch of an abandoned home. He was detained and cops later found him with a loaded handgun, heroin, prescription pills and cash.
