Trenton

Crack and Pot: Casper Poole, 49, Watson Cogdell, 56, and Gene Wingate, 49, were arrested over the weekend after police allegedly found 16 grams of crack cocaine and a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Sweets Avenue. Officials say detectives from the Street Crimes Unit stopped the trio after seeing one of them drinking alcohol inside the vehicle. During the stop, police saw weed in plain view, prompting a search. Police also seized a total of $468 in cash, as suspected proceeds from drug sales.

Pot Bust: Jaquise Melvin, 23, was arrested over the weekend after police allegedly found him in possession of eight grams of marijuana. Police also seized $467 from Melvin, as suspected drug proceeds.

Stolen Car: Kasey Benning, 23, was arrested after detectives from the Street Crimes Unit recovered a stolen Dodge Durango. Officials say cops saw Benning driving the vehicle near the intersecti­on of Brunswick Avenue and Southard Street. Benning also provided a false name during the traffic stop, leading to a hindering apprehensi­on charge. Officials say Benning was also wanted in connection with an unrelated strong-arm robbery. Stolen Gun Arrest: Breyon Rogers, 28, was arrested Saturday night after police allegedly found him in possession of a stolen handgun. Officials say detectives from the Street Crimes Unit saw Rogers exiting a parked car on Poplar Street around 9:30 p.m. When Rogers saw cops, officials say, he tossed a gun into the passenger seat of the car and walked away. Officials say the gun was previously reported stolen following a burglary in Trenton. Rogers is charged with weapons offenses and receiving stolen property.

Bucks County

DUI: Mitchell Blaak, 24, was arrested for driving under the influence after failing field sobriety tests. Officials say Blaak had glassy, bloodshot eyes and the odor of alcohol on his breath following a traffic stop on Lincoln Highway. Cops initially stopped him for driving a vehicle without a functionin­g registrati­on plate light.

DUI Crash: Lindsay Benzel, 36, was arrested following an alleged drunken crash on Easton Road. Police say Benzel, of Doylestown, rearended another vehicle that was stopped at an intersecti­on. During the subsequent investigat­ion, officials say, Benzel failed several field coordinati­on tests.
