Lynette Mugabi of Ewing

Lynette “Nettie” Mugabi, 61, of Ewing departed this life on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Temple University Hospital Philadelphia, PA.

Born in Elizabethtown, NC, Lynette received her education in the Trenton Public Schools and was a graduate of Trenton Central High School. She continued her education at Mercer County Community College. She was employed by the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Predeceased by her parents, Jr. Bishop Fred B. and Jessie R. McKenzie; a brother, Felton McKenzie; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Miriam and Henry Burton, Sr. and a brother-in-law, Henry M. Burton, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Kojo Mugabi; a son, Gerald B. McKenzie, Sr.; 7 grandchildren, Anna and Tiara Fields, Ariel, Trinity, Nathaniel, Darius, Gerald B., Jr. and Christian McKenzie; 1 great granddaughter, Zoe Soterry McKenzie; a sister, Cynthia McKenzie; two sisters-in-law, Julia I and Patricia Burton; 5 brothers-inlaw, Derrell Lynch, John (Carol), Frank (Terri), Earl, Clarence (Rose) Burton; 2 nieces, Terri McKenzie and Tiffany Austin; 2 nephews, Charles and Darren McKenzie; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1:00pm at grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries 1217 Calhoun St. Trenton, NJ.

Interment will be in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville, NJ

Calling hours will be Saturday from 11am to 1pm at the church.

Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
