Trenton
Ecstasy Bust: Mikhail Gerassimov, 30, and Maksym Kravchenko, 22, were arrested Wednesday after police raided their Indiana Avenue home and found drugs. Officials say detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit conducted a short-term operation targeting illegal drug distribution and found 51 ecstasy pills and five grams of marijuana when they raided the house. Police also seized $1,200 in cash as suspected proceeds from drug sales.
Heroin Bust: Malik Bond, 21, and Kyarra Serrano, 18, were arrested after police found them in possession of 10 decks of heroin and two grams of marijuana. Officials say the pair was inside a car in the 100 block of Walnut Avenue Wednesday night when detectives from the Street Crimes Unit pulled them over for a motor vehicle violation.
Arson: Lorraine Tarver, 28, was arrested Wednesday night after she allegedly tried to set fire to her Kingsbury Towers apartment during an argument with two siblings.
Tarver’s relatives told police they were arguing about living arrangements around 9:10 p.m. when she set fire to a calendar using a lighter and tossed it on the floor. Tarver then placed a rug on the stove and turned on the burner. She piled on more combustible materials while threatening to burn down the apartment, according to officials who say one of her siblings eventually restrained her to prevent further damage. Tarver then left the apartment and her relatives extinguished the fire with water from the sink. Cops arrested tarver a short time later. She is charged with arson, terroristic threats and other related offenses.
Bristol, Pa.
Skimming Scheme: Police are searching for three people involved in using an embedded ATM skimmer at Penn Community Bank on Mill Street. The skimmer was installed on an outside ATM by a male and a female around 1 a.m. on February 2. That male later returned with another male on February 5 to retrieve the skimmer from the ATM. Those same three suspects have also been captured on photo installing a skimmer on another ATM in Levittown, according to police. Anyone with information regarding the incident or the identity of the suspects is asked to call Detective William Davis at 215-788-7813 ext: 2425.
Philadelphia
Vandalism: Robert Ehlers, 39, from Morrisville, and Brendon Lopez, 24, of Bristol, were arrested on Super Bowl Sunday after police allegedly caught them spray painting the wall of a loading dock on the southwest side of the 3600 block of Chestnut Street. Police say the men were both carrying cans of spray paint and ink markers that were used to vandalize multiple locations at the University of Pennsylvania. Riot: John Rigsby, 20, of Malvern, was arrested after he and several other people flipped a vehicle around 11 p.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Walnut Street while celebrating the Super Bowl victory by the Philadelphia Eagles. Police say Rigsby and others were celebrating in a riotous manner when they gathered around a Nissan Rogue and flipped it onto its driver’s side door, causing dents and scratches. Rigsby was arrested two days later and charged with causing and risking a catastrophe, criminal mischief, riot and other related offenses.
