Helen Pelles DiCostanzo Muolo,
98, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 9, 2018.
Born in Coatesville, PA, she was a Hamilton resident for most of her life.
Helen retired from the State of NJ Department of Labor & Industry as a senior statistical clerk. She was a member of Robbinsville Fellowship Senior Club, Evergreen Seniors Club and Hamilton Senior Center. She was also a dancer with Irene Parker Dance Studio and performed solos at the Trenton War Memorial.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Mary (Tyitye) Pelles; her husbands, Paul R. DiCostanzo and Leonard C. Muolo; and siblings, George Pelles, Julia Sypniewski and Mary Venanzi.
She is survived by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Patrick Zigrand; her loving grandchildren, Jeffrey Paul and his wife Angela Zigrand and Carisa Ann and her husband Carmen Barbato; her cherished great grandchildren, C.J. and Christian Barbato, Olivia Noel Zigrand and Caden Barbato; her caregiver, Jozefa (Josie) Lesniak who took excellent care of Helen for the last three years and also her caregiver Roberta; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Compassionate Care Hospice for all the loving support they gave them for the passed six months.
The funeral will be held Thursday, February 15, at 10:15 a.m. from the Gruerio Funeral Home, 311 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael Church, 3500 S. Broad Street, Hamilton. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum/ Alcove of the Redemption, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to Helen’s family on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00-10:15 a.m. at the Gruerio Funeral Home.
