85 passed away February 5, 2018. He was born in Somerset, NJ and was educated in the Princeton public school system.

Mr. Madison was a retired Tractor Trailer Driver for the United States Postal Service with 30 years of service. He was an U.S. Army Veteran, and was a member of Prince Hall and Khufu #120.

Son of the late Charles Willard Madison and Elizabeth Thompson Reed, father of the late Robert C. Madison, stepson of the late Luther Reed Sr., and Charles Vincent Gillette, brother of the late Willard Madison, William H. Reed, Vincent “Junnie” Gillette, Luther Reed Jr., and Donald Gillette, brother-in-law of the late Carl Staten, W.T. Richardson, son-in-law of the late Leroy and Gladys Bregler.

Mr. Madison is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Cynthia L. Beagles Madison, son Richard T. Madison, granddaughter Kiara M. Madison, brothers and sistersin-law Leroy H. and Barbara Bregler, Joseph and Karen Sine, Lisa and Brez, Holly and Bill Douglas, Betty Reed, Patricia Gillette, and Ivelin (Donnie) Gillette, two sisters Dorothy Staten, and Barbara Richardson, a brother Reginald Reed, his best friend Bill Cruse, his two dogs Justin and Sparkle, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 10am Thurs February 22, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Eggerts Crossing 121 Hillcrest Ave. Lawrenceville, NJ. Calling hours will be 8am until time of service at the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
