Margie Elaine McCoy transitioned from this life peacefully at home in Trenton,

New Jersey on Saturday, February,

24 2018. Born in Baltimore, Maryland and lived in Trenton for 65 years. She was educated in theTrenton Public Schools, and graduated Trenton Central High School Class of 1970. Margie was employed by Acme Markets for 48 years and retired in September of 2017.

Margie was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Minnie Dixon of Trenton, NJ, and her brother Howard Dixon also of Trenton New Jersey.

Margie is survived by her sons, Arthur McCoy Jr., (Woodbridge, VA) Corey McCoy, and Andre McCoy (Trenton, NJ), daughterin-law Nicole McCoy (Woodbridge, VA), a brother Clarence Dixon (Hollywood, FL), and a sister Delores Lavant Stevens (Trenton, NJ), grandchildren, Diandra Mitchell-McCoy, Brittany Mitchell-McCoy, Breon Mitchell-McCoy, Mikaila Mitchell-McCoy (all of Richmond, VA), Risan McCoy, Avery McCoy, Jaden McCoy (Woodbridge, VA), Brielle K. McCoy (Hopewell, NJ), DeAndre McCoy, Audrey

McCoy, Andre McCoy Jr., and Kaylah Creech (all of Trenton, NJ), and Amandela Mitchell-McCoy, and a great-granddaughter Jordyn Nicole Mitchell Ellis (Richmond, VA), her former spouse, Arthur McCoy Sr. of Bethlehem, PA and a loving mother-in-law Nellie Jackson of Trenton, NJ, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.

Funeral service will be 3pm Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Hughes Funeral Home 324 Bellevue Avenue, Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 1pm until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to: Arthur McCoy Jr. and Corey McCoy in care of the Hughes Funeral Home.
