Trenton

Beatdown Backfire: Fletcher Turner, 48, was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly smashed a glass bottle over another man’s head, resulting in a retaliator­y beatdown that left Turner lying in the street. Officials say cops found Turner in the street suffering from a laceration to his left eye and broken facial bones after being sent to the corner of North Clinton Avenue and Poplar Street around 4:30p.m. While speaking to Turner at the hospital, police encountere­d another man who also suffered a laceration to his eye. That man told police he and Turner were drinking alcohol when Turner accused him of taking his cellphone. Turner then grabbed a bottle out of a trash can and smashed it over the victim’s head. The victim then fought back in self-defense, according to police. Turner is charged with aggravated assault. Police say he and the victim resided with each other in the past.

Heroin and Crack: Dylan Santos, 21, and Peter Santos, 19, were arrested after police interrupte­d an alleged drug deal near the corner of Chestnut Avenue and Smith Street. Officials say the Santoses were in a car where cops found 88 decks of heroin and two grams of crack cocaine. Police also seized the Mercedes Benz the men were driving and $470as suspected proceeds from drug sales.

Fight: Tameka Woody, 28, and Kurtis Blue, 24, were arrested Tuesday after they both ended up in the hospital to treat wounds sustained during a fight. Officials say Woody and Blue were engaged in a verbal argument that became physical, resulting in injuries that required medical attention. Woody received stitches to close wounds on her face, police say, and Blue suffered a laceration to his shoulder. Woody is charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses. Blue is charged with simple assault. Child Sex Assault: Jose Pinto, 19, was arrested for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old female in October. Police say the incident wasn’t reported until earlier this month, and that Pinto knows the victim. He is charged with aggravated sex assault and endangerin­g the welfare of a child.

Shooting Arrest: Kareem White, 25, was arrested Tuesday in connection with a shooting that happened in the 100 block of Oakland Street on December 17. Police say no one was injured during the incident, but the Shooting Response Team continued investigat­ing the case until they developed enough probable cause to charge White with aggravated assault and related weapons offenses. Heroin, Crack and Pot: Semaj Logan, 20, was arrested by members of the Street Crimes Unit Tuesday after they found him in possession of 22 grams of marijuana, one gram of crack cocaine and four decks of heroin. Officials say detectives encountere­d Semaj after seeing him commit a motor vehicle violation in the 600 block of West State Street. Further investigat­ion uncovered the drugs.

Princeton

Wallet Snatch: Someone stole a wallet from a purse that was hanging off the back of a woman’s chair in Panera Bread. The thief later made an unauthoriz­ed purchase of $1,900 in merchandis­e from a Target store in West Windsor. Stolen Electronic­s: A woman told police someone stole her iPad Air from the Princeton Senior Resource Center. The loss is estimated at $500.

Bristol, Pa.

Drug Bust: Edward Donohue, 51, was arrested for possession of drugs and parapherna­lia.

Burglary: A lottery ticket, assorted tobacco products and other merchandis­e were stolen from the LukOil gas station in the 800block of Bath Street.

Burglary Too: Several remote control cars with remotes and batteries were stolen from the basement of a property in the 1000 block of Wood Street. The loss is estimated at $3,000.
