Trenton

Robbery: Alphonso Williams, 49, was nabbed on robbery, weapon and drug charges by Detective Ricardo Ramos for an armed robbery at the Cam Buffet on the 600 block of South Clinton Avenue. The robbery happened March 5, when Williams walked up to the buffet register and told the worker he had a gun and demanded cash. The worker came around the counter, and Williams struck the worker in the face. They tussled before Williams bolted from the restaurant. The investigat­ion was turned over to Ramos, who establishe­d probable cause to charge Williams. Williams didn’t make off with any cash. He was arrested on Carroll Street.

Break-In: James Argant, 25, was arrested and charged with burglary and related charges. Cops say he was responsibl­e for setting off a commercial burglary alarm on the 600 block of Plum Street. Officers approached the business and saw Argant wearing a bright orange sweatshirt and black pants in the back of the business trying to scale a fence. Argant ran away from the cops leading them on a foot chase across Route 1. He doubled back across Route 1 and went into Clayton Constructi­on where cops finally caught up to him. Cops spoke to the manager who turned over surveillan­ce video to the officers. Argant matched the descriptio­n of the suspect.

Domestic Violence: Cornelius Johnson, 43, was hit with charges of simple assault and improper behavior for domestic violence. Cops showed up at the 300 block of Gardner Avenue when they saw Johnson walking outside a home. Johnson was detained while cops spoke to the victi. The victim called the cops after she told officers the two argued when Johnson grabbed her and bent her finger back. Johnson screamed loudly interrupti­ng the investigat­ion. He didn’t listen to officers when they told him to calm down. When cops tried to hook him and book him, he struggled with them. They finally got him under control.

Harassment: Adsandro Santiago, 29, was hit with contempt and harassment charges after cops say he was turned over by Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office because he had a warrant for domestic violence stemming from an incident on the 800 block of South Clinton Avenue. The victim had a temporary restrainin­g order against her boyfriend Santiago. He called and threatened to go to her residence.

Princeton

Ex-Worker Threat: Cops are looking for an ex-Terrace Club employee who phoned the club Tuesday after he was asked to leave and threatened a manager. “That is the last time you are going to yell at me, I got something for you,” suspect Darnall Pygum allegedly told the frightened manager of the club located on Washington Road. “I’m going to snipe you. I’m going to get you. I’ll be waiting for you outside this afternoon when you leave.” Pygum entered the club earlier trying to get a job, cops said, but was asked to leave because he was drunkenly hugging staff and club members. The Daily

Princetoni­an reported the club shut down as a result of the threat. Pygum, who is known to police in several Mercer County agencies, left the club when asked but called back later with the alarming message. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Cops say if anyone sees Pygum to call Princeton Police at 609-921-2100.

Ewing

Stealing: Nirva Jean-Charles, 38, of Philadelph­ia, was arrested for shopliftin­g $95 worth of merchandis­e from the Forman Mills on the 1500 block of Olden Avenue. Charles was also cited for possession of drug parapherna­lia.

Lawrence

Pinned Under Plow: A snow plow at Rider University backed over a female student. The extent of her injuries is unknown. The incident remains under investigat­ion.
