Pastor Dorothy Mae Jackson of Robbinsville
Pastor Dorothy Mae Jackson, 76, of Robbinsville, NJ departed this life on Monday,
April 2, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Crescent City, FL, Pastor Jackson attended the Middleton Elementary /Jr. High School. Upon moving to Robbinsville, NJ with her parents she continued her education by graduating from Allentown High School. She continued her education at the United Christian Institute Extension of Trenton, NJ where she received a Doctorate Degree.
She was employed as an LPN at the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital for over 30 years before retiring.
Predeceased by her parents, Bishop H.J. and Overseer Eva Mae Thomas and a stepdaughter Diane Jackson surviving are her husband, Loris L. Jackson; one daughter, Yvonne Scarborough; 3 grandson, Glenn, Jr., Jonathan O., Sr. and Ryan A. Johnson; a special great granddaughter and caregiver, Minnie McCollum; her godmother, Mother Letha Inman, a god sister, Pastor Penix-McEachern; a spiritual godson, Deacon Lester Shepard, 2 goddaughters, Pastor Lisa Taylor and Elder Natasha Boyd and a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren Emanuel Pentecostal temple family, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11am at Emmanuel Pentecostal Temple 203 Hutchinson Rd Robbinsville, NJ.
Interment will be in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville, NJ
Calling hours will be FRIDAY, APRIL 6, 2018 FROM 6PM-8PM and Saturday from 9am to 11am at the church.
Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
