Rancocas Valley edges NBC in BCSL Liberty clash

COLUMBUS » The Rancocas Valley High School softball team picked up a big Burlington County Scholastic League Liberty Division Thursday when topped Northern Burlington, 2-1.

Marissa Vandergrif­t pitched a five-hittter and struck out three for the win. Haylei Archer gave up 10 hits and fanned nine in defeat.

Chrissy Huhn was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, Vanessa Tancini scored three times and stole three bases, and Kalella Heston also drove in two runs.
