Anne H. Blatchford Buttich, 97, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Compassion­ate Care Hospice at RWJ Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime area resident. Anne was retired from the State of NJ / Division of Motor Vehicles, Trenton and had also been previously employed as a waitress at Cedar Gardens Restaurant, Hamilton and several other local restaurant­s. A devout catholic and longtime parishione­r of St. Raphael’s Holy Angels Parish, she was a member of the Hamilton Senior Center and the Golden Nuggets and Elderberry Seniors groups. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchild­ren and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.

Daughter of the late George and Anna Somas Hvasta, sister of the late Joseph, George, and Andrew Hvasta, and wife of the late George H. Blatchford and Stanley C. Buttich, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Catherine and Karl Mercer, her sons George H., Robert B. and Richard J. Blatchford, her stepson and daughter-in-law Francis and Carol Buttich, her step-daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Thomas Devlin, her brother N. Thomas Hvasta, 8 grandchild­ren, 11 great-grandchild­ren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 23, 2018 at 10:30 AM from Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton (www.Kingstonan­dKemp.com). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton. Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery #2, Ridge Ave., Hamilton. Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 9 to 10:30 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, Anne’s family requests that memorial contributi­ons may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org).
