DELRAN » A late game rally came up a run short as the Nottingham High baseball team fell to Delran, 8-7, in the championsh­ip game of the Papa Bear Invitation­al.

David Scott had three hits, while Nick Houghton added two hits and two runs batted in. Jacob Fanning had a tworun home run for the Northstars.

Alex Madera, Zach Bohn and Louie Rossner all knocked in two runs for the Bears.
