Ronnie L. “Butch” McAllister, of Trenton, died on April 16, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was 70 years old.

Born in Trenton, Butch was a wellknown resident of Wilbur Section. He attended Trenton Central High School.

He was a member of Heavy Labor Union Local 172 for twenty-five years. He worked for CJ Pardon & Sons Paving Co. and Stavola Constructi­on.

Butch was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church of Trenton. He was also a member of the Mighty Stars of Harmony Gospel Group for 15 years.

Predecease­d by his parents, Jack Bell and Algia Mae McAllister; two brothers, Jimmy Bell and Larry “Sleepy” McAllister; two sisters, Deborah A. Bell and Cynthia M. Bell-Ricks; and one goddaughte­r, Lola Solomon. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife his wife of 49 years, Louise; four children, Darryl Stevenson, Sean Morris (Eileen), and Felicia and Shakeyta McAllister; eight grandchild­ren, Shanice, Michelle and Jonathan Morris, Stephanie Holt, Karon Mann, Marshon McAllister, and Kalib and Khalil Paige; eight great-grandchild­ren; six godchildre­n; one sister, Mary McAllister-Atkins (Tyshawn); one uncle, Lonzie Lee McAllister; three sister in-laws, Deborah Stevenson, Shiela Smith, and Betty Ann Hamilton; one special nephew, Ronnie “Ron Ron” McAllister; five special friends, Perlie Fitchett, Lee Fuller, Joseph Williams, James Mungro, and Lorenzo Swain; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 340 Rev. S. Howard Woodson Jr. Way, Trenton, NJ 08618. Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 8-10 a.m. at the church.

Arrangemen­ts are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
