Nottingham takes thriller against Ewing

EWING » The Nottingham High softball team won a thriller Tuesday when it topped Ewing, 5-4, in eight innings.

Ewing (8-6) rallied with three in the bottom of the seventh behind a two-run homer by pitcher Lauren Christensen, but Nottingham (9-4) got a game-winning single from Stella Spatola in the eight. Jayden Glazewski doubled and homered for the winners. Heather Clevenger picked up the win in relief.

Jackie Masone and Morgan Fleischer had two hits for the Rams.
