‘Spider-Man’ sighting at Trenton train station

Spider-Man visited the Trenton Transit Center yesterday just after community activist Mike Drago walked by. He had preceded former Mayor Douglas H. Palmer.

Drago headed north on a New Jersey Transit train. Palmer headed south. And SpiderMan, aka, Brandon Mollica, had time enough to strike a familiar pose by the famous web slinger before catching a train to Bensalem, Pa.

Hey, a guy shows up dressed as Spidey in the train station and any journalist, reporter or columnist worth his weight in web products will inquire about the get up.

“I work the night shift at Amazon in Robbinsville and there’s this woman there that I wanted to impress,” Mollica, who trains new employees, said.

“My friends thought I was nuts. But she’s really cool and I wanted to make a real impression. I wore the outfit the whole day and it worked. I got her number. And I’m really excited about that,” Mollica chortled.

Ok. Mr. Mollica did not match that hot SpiderMan scene when Kirsten Dunst hits up the webmaster with that upside down kiss after peeling down his mask but his attempt at romance scored high on the love meter.

Cool that he impressed his young coworker enough that she relinquished her digits. Even if he fails to make a real love connection, Mollica delivered a memorable moment and lived up to his wall crawler image.

Spider-Man, SpiderMan, does whatever a spider can.
