Trenton
Domestic Assault: Jalen Flemming, 22, was arrested for allegedly breaking his ex-girlfriend’s arm during an assault in Prospect Village last week. The motive for the assault is unclear, but the victim told police Flemming punched her in the head and body several times. The woman suffered a broken left arm and swelling in her head, according to law enforcement.
Heroin and Pot: Marc Smith, 26, and Stefon Beale, 28, were arrested for drug offenses. Police say Smith had 10decks of heroin and a small amount of marijuana when cops encountered the pair near the intersection of Hewitt
Street and Whittaker Avenue.
Beale also had pot in his possession, according to police. Crack Deal: Charles EllisGlanton, 47, was arrested after he allegedly fled police who interrupted a drug deal. Officials say Ellis-Glanton was dealing drugs to a pedestrian near the intersection of East State Street and Garfield Avenue when detectives from the Street Crimes Unit patrolled the block. Ellis-Glanton sped away when he saw cops, officials say, but eventually pulled over. During the investigation, police found Ellis-Glanton had two grams of crack cocaine and $1,471in cash, which was seized as suspected proceeds from drug sales. Police also found an open bottle of alcohol in the car. The pedestrian managed to escape.
Robbinsville
Heroin Bust: Danielle Kavendek, 37, and Elliot Gagnon, 36, both of Tinton Falls, were arrested for possession of heroin and hypodermic needles during a traffic stop on I-195. Police stopped the pair for alleged careless driving.
Pot Bust: Ivana Cruz, 23, of Keasbey, was arrested for marijuana possession on I-195.
Heroin and Needles: Lindsay Schwedt, 35, of Whiting, and Alex Ciccone, 28, of Toms River, were arrested for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Route 526. Ciccone was also charged with drug distribution. Police initially stopped them for careless driving and failure to maintain a lane. Heroin at the Airport: Joseph Meagher, 28, of Hamilton, was arrested for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia at the Trenton–Robbinsville Airport on Sharon Road. He was also charged with three counts of burglary and two counts of theft.
Doylestown
Public Urination: Joseph Mars, 23, was cited for public urination on E. State Street. Drunkenness: Christopher Clee, 24, and James Gannon IV, 24, were arrested after the manager of a liquor establishment on S. Main Street told cops Clee and Gannon were intoxicated and uncooperative, refusing to leave the business. Public Urination: Jason Palmer, 39, and Joseph Paupst, 30, were both cited for public urination at the corner of Printers Alley.
Drunkenness: Hannah Schlumpf, 23, of Long Valley, NJ, was cited for public drunkenness after an employee of a liquor establishment on S. Main Street told police Schlumpf was over-intoxicated and refusing to stay out of the business. Police say Schlumpf also become uncooperative with the officer, refused to perform a portable breath test, and wouldn’t call anyone for a ride.
