Patricia “Pat” D. Allen, 83, of Hamilton and Wildwood Crest, passed away, peacefully, at home on Sunday, May 6, 2018.

Born and raised in Philadelph­ia, PA, she resided in Hamilton for the past 60 years. She was a dental assistant in Philadelph­ia, PA, and, later, in Bordentown, NJ, until her retirement. Pat was a member of the Episcopal Church for her entire life, and was currently a member of Christ Church, Bordentown. As a teenager, she taught Sunday School at St. James the Less Church in Philadelph­ia before becoming a 60-year member of St. Matthias Church in Hamilton, where she was active in church school and the ECW. Enthusiast­ic, caring, giving and loving, Pat was an excellent cook who enjoyed giving parties for family and friends. She loved the seashore. Many mornings she could be seen bicycling on the Wildwood Boardwalk and, many afternoons, strolling down her beloved Wildwood Crest beach.

Pat was predecease­d by her loving husband of 61 years, Andrew “Jerry” Allen, Jr., her parents Regina and Herbert Dicks and her sister Barbara Collins. She is survived by her son Robert Allen of Hamilton, her daughter Nancy Allen of Ewing, her grandson Rob of Hamilton, her granddaugh­ter Mary of Philadelph­ia and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 10 AM at Christ Episcopal Church, 130 Prince St., Bordentown.

Interment will follow at Allentown Presbyteri­an Church, High St., Allentown.
