FAIRLESS HILLS, PA. » There are few things the ConwellEga­n softball team enjoys more than knocking off Archbishop Wood.

As such, it was a fun day for Conwell-Egan on Monday when it managed to beat Wood, 10-5, despite collecting just seven hits. Standout sophomore Cori Jones had two of those hits and also knocked in three runs. Alyssa Fagans, Devon Savage and Carli Maw all doubled. Amber Stansfield got the win with an eighthitte­r.

Haley Sauer worked the first 5.2 innings for the win before Dani Sharpe came on for the save. Buechner also had the game-winning hit when she knocked in Allie Goodman. Bensalem is now 6-9.

EAST AMWELL TWP. » Sara Weber, Amanda Morgano, Kamike Maragia and Madiso Seidman all smacked two hits as New Egypt improved to 5-9. Chloe Lewis struck out 11 for the War- riors and Nina Foy fanned six as the two combined on a three-hitter.
